Plebis.Net. Speak your mind.

I have just launched Plebis.net. It’s a wall on the Internet you can write on, for all to see.

You can write anything you want. There’s no censor and nothing is recorded, so feel free to scream shout and wail. Tell the world how you feel. Get it off your chest. Go on, it’s good for you. Head over to Plebis.net, and say something!

    Steve,

    Hum yes fair point. The most recent entries are stored in memory in memcached. For a while that was the only place, and that’s what I meant by ‘nothing is recorded’. Now they are also serialized to disk in case my server reboots.

    The only data I record is what you see on screen – name, date and message. There are the Apache logs as well, which are cleaned up at no precise interval.

    Do you really record nothing?

    How do you show the page if nothing is recorded?!
